The purpose of this survey is to provide substantive information on the annual hour requirements for a 1.0 FTE for shift-based specialties.

1. The information provided in this questionnaire will be kept confidential and in a de-identified format. The information you provide will be reported in the 2020 Shift Based Physician FTE Survey in an aggregate manner and will not identify any organization. Further, the aggregated statistics will be disseminated only if at least five organizations provide data and not one organization represents more than 25% on a weighted basis of the statistics.

2. AAPCP reserves the right to use the data gathered herein for purposes including but not limited to: national and custom report publications, research partnerships, and for other AAPCP survey publications. Individual data may be used or disclosed in a non-summary form for these purposes. In all cases any identifiable information will be removed. By submitting this survey, you are agreeing to these terms and conditions.

Instructions

This is an employed physician only survey.  Further, please list only scheduled clinical contact hours and do not include call coverage that is off-site.  On-site call coverage would be defined as scheduled clinical contact hours.

In addition, if you have two ICU groups, with two different FTEs such as 1,900 for Group A and 2,200 for Group B, please average them and use 2,050 for your answer.

Finally, if you do not employ the specialty, please leave that section blank.
