About the Credentials
The CPCV Credential will be available in Q4 of 2024. The CPCC will be available in Q2 of 2025.
- Cost: The CPCV will cost $, and the CPCC will cost $. This cost includes all courses, exams, and materials.
- Pre-Requisites: Bachelor’s degree or ten years of general healthcare experience. You must have two years of relevant experience once the credential is awarded (you may enroll before having the experience).
- Exams: Individuals with experience may test out of modules instead of taking all courses.
- Continuing Education: 12 hours of approved continuing education are required per year and 48 hours per four years.
- Credential Committee: Our CPCV is being developed by national experts from our Credential Committee. Our Chair is Tim Smith, and members include Eric Leafgreen, Greg Endicott, Jim Carr, and Richard Romero.
