The American Association of Provider Compensation Professionals (AAPCP) is the nation’s largest nonprofit 501(c)(3) educational organization devoted to creating a community for individuals working in Provider Compensation and Workforce Strategy. Professionals working in this space have skillset focused on compensation design, strategy, and valuation to attract, engage, optimize, and retain you healthcare professional workforce.

Our Members Are National Healthcare Provider Workforce Experts
Our Members advise and lead organizations on provider compensation, contracting, planning, recruitment, retention, strategy, and valuation. Member titles include SVP/VP of Provider Compensation, COO, and more, with all Members helping lead their respective organizations provider compensation function. In addition, the AAPCP is the professional home for consulting, valuation, and law firm national experts that advise clients in this space.
Our Members support their organizations and clients by developing strategic financial alignment with healthcare professionals through compensation design, strategy, and valuation. Further, our Members act as healthcare workforce experts in optimization, utilization, and best market practices.

History and Leadership
The AAPCP was founded in 2020 by a group of individuals who led their respective healthcare organizations provider compensation and workforce strategy functions. This group recognized that there was no dedicated professional community for individuals working in this multi-disciplinary financial, legal, operational, and strategic profession. What began with 30 healthcare organizations has now a reach to at least 50% of the health systems in the country and Members from all major and reputable consulting, legal, and valuation firms.
